7 Unforgettable Moments from 2024 REVOLT WORLD

REVOLT WORLD returned to Atlanta from September 20-22, 2024, with a vibrant three-day experience filled with impactful panels, masterclasses, DJ sets, and performances by top artists in the culture. This year’s event featured A-list stars like Caresha (Yung Miami), Rob49, Ari Fletcher, Cash Cobain, Flo Milli, and legends like Cam’ron and Offset. Powered by Wal-Mart, the event aimed to reimagine the intersection of culture and creativity while offering a platform for creators.

Here are seven key moments that made the 2024 REVOLT WORLD unforgettable:

1. “Caresha Please” Live Was a Hit Again Yung Miami once again captivated audiences with her live show “Caresha Please.” After last year’s success, her 2024 sit-down with Boosie Badazz created buzz as he candidly discussed raising a child in the LGBTQ+ community. While opinions were divided, Boosie’s openness about his family struck a chord. Yung Miami also kept things lively with her hit card game, Resha Roulette, and a lavish set design that included high-end designer bags.

2. Women Creatives Dominated the Industry Female artists stole the spotlight at REVOLT WORLD, with standout performances from Flo Milli, Coi Leray, and Mariah The Scientist. Mariah’s soulful set was one of her last headlining shows before hitting the road with fellow Atlanta star Latto. DJs like Domo Wells and Tori Brixx further showcased the power of women in music. Wells, also a fashion designer, moderated the Future of Fashion panel, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to shine in both music and fashion.

3. Live Podcast Shows Drew Huge Crowds The live tapings of hit podcasts like Drink Champs, Big Facts, and The Baller Alert Show attracted large audiences. Popular figures like NFL MVP Cam Newton, Method Man, and Lil Duval participated, along with rising stars like Skilla Baby and Sukihana. Skilla Baby’s viral statement about hip hop being a young man’s game, highlighting Drake and Future’s continued relevance, sparked major conversation.

4. AI’s Growing Influence in Culture Artificial intelligence took center stage with the Designing The Future Through AI masterclass, where attendees learned about AI’s potential in shaping the future. Moderators dispelled myths and highlighted how creators can use AI to enhance their lives and careers. This session helped bridge the gap between skepticism and understanding of AI’s role in culture and creativity.

5. Learning to Monetize Creativity REVOLT WORLD emphasized the importance of financial literacy, hosting panels on how to monetize creativity. Sessions like Creativity Is Inclusive, The Business of Beauty, and Content to Cashflow Masterclass empowered attendees to turn their passion into profit. Creators left with valuable insights on leveraging intellectual property and building sustainable careers.

6. Hip Hop Continues to Dominate Despite changes in the music industry, hip hop remains the world’s leading genre. Artists like Key Glock, 42 Dugg, Cash Cobain, Rob49, and Offset took over the stage, delivering some of the hottest performances of the year. Saturday night’s 2 ½-hour set was a high-energy celebration of hip hop’s continued dominance, with Offset closing out the night with a medley of hits from his iconic catalog.

7. International Music United the Crowd International stars like Ayra Starr, Central Cee, and Wizkid have been making waves, and their influence was felt at REVOLT WORLD. The three-hour Jerk X Jollof party, a traveling event celebrating global sounds, provided the perfect finale for attendees.
