The Armed have unveiled a brand-new EP titled Everlasting Gaze, following up on their 2023 album Perfect Saviors. Set to release on October 18, the EP features three original tracks along with remixes of their song “Sport of Form” by Idles, Water From Your Eyes, and Model/Actriz. As a sneak peek, the band has shared the single “New! Christianity,” which features guest vocals from Sarah Tudzin of Illuminati Hotties and Meghan O’Neil. The accompanying music video, directed by Tony Wolski, is available to watch now.
Fans of Perfect Saviors may have already stumbled upon a hidden clue leading to Everlasting Gaze. Vinyl copies of the album contained a URL inside the jacket, revealing access to the EP’s three new songs. Interestingly, “New! Christianity” was initially meant to be the first single from Perfect Saviors, but the band decided to hold it back, saving it as a defining statement for the final part of their trilogy, following Only Love and Ultrapop.
