Novozero Returns with To All The Times – A Haunting Reflection on Fleeting Moments

Emerging from the icy landscapes of Tromsø, Northern Norway, alternative rock band Novozero has made a triumphant return with their latest single, To All The Times, released on March 14, 2025. Known for their evocative sound that blends powerful vocals, reverb-soaked synths, fuzz-driven basslines, and soaring guitars, Novozero captures the raw intensity of emotion through their music. To All The Times is an introspective dive into the fleeting nature of life’s moments—those brief instants that slip by unnoticed, only to be longed for later.

Written during the darkest months of winter, To All The Times carries the weight of isolation, nostalgia, and the ache of missed opportunities. The song builds like a tide pulling listeners in with swirling synths and haunting melodies, before crashing into a climactic wave of guitars, bass, and drums, leaving the listener breathless in its wake. It’s a track that doesn’t just reflect on time—it makes you feel it.

Novozero’s story is as compelling as their music. Founded by Anna and Andreas, the duo’s journey took a dramatic turn in 2021, when they left the Norwegian capital for Tromsø—a city locked down under the third wave of the pandemic. Polar Night had cast everything into darkness, leaving them physically and emotionally isolated in an unfamiliar place. With no distractions, they turned inward, pouring their emotions into music. Those intense winter writing sessions resulted in several tracks, three of which made it onto their debut EP, Everything’s a Bit Funny Right Now.

Their breakthrough single “This Town” received national airplay on NRK, while also climbing to #2 on NRK Urørt’s most-played list. Novozero followed up with “I See”, a track that leaned further into bouncy basslines, distorted synths, and reverb-heavy atmospheres. Critics and fans alike were captivated by their dynamic sound, with reviews praising the band’s ability to balance heaviness with hypnotic melodies.

Now, after a period of quiet, Novozero is back and more focused than ever. To All The Times is just the beginning, serving as the first of three singles set to release in the coming months. The band has evolved, honing their signature blend of post-punk, alt-rock, and electronic influences. Drawing inspiration from old bluesy crooners, 80s new wave, and modern electronic textures, their music is both nostalgic and forward-thinking.

With Anna’s love for powerful choruses and Andreas’ affinity for fuzz pedals and vintage synths, Novozero continues to carve out a unique space in the alternative rock scene. Their music carries the weight of its origins—the cold, the dark, the loneliness—but within that weight, there’s a light. A flicker of connection. A reminder that, even as time slips through our fingers, the music remains.
